Bilingual Library

Olivewood’s bilingual library is a vibrant and enriching space that features over 6,000 books and artefacts across both English and Arabic.

The library is a key part of our learning environment, offering a rich collection of books and artefacts in both English and Arabic. The facility supports our unique bilingual curriculum, providing pupils with access to stories, factual texts, and cultural resources that spark imagination and deepen understanding in both languages. The space itself is warm, inviting, and designed to foster a love of reading, exploration, and independent learning from an early age.

Each week, pupils are given dedicated time within their timetable to visit the library, browse the shelves, and select books that interest them. Teachers encourage children to read regularly at school and at home, promoting good reading habits and helping them build confidence and love for reading which is a key part of our setting.
